What Freedom Means to Me!
I know life is sometimes about doing what you have to do but that can't be all of it. You should also be doing a lot of what you want to do. Just like me, I had to go to school all year but now it's summer vacation and I AM FREE and all summer I'm doing things my way! You should too.

Unbothered for the Win
This month our team’s #HerdWordoftheMonth is “unbothered”. Oftentimes when we hear the word unbothered, we imagine someone who is or has been upset by something and is now absolutely over it. They are likely refusing to give that thing, that situation, or that person any more of his or her time and consideration. This is definitely a true reflection of the word and most of us have been here before and will likely be here again at some point because...life. But it’s not the only reflection.

Unbothered
Here we are again! It’s a new month and time to announce the Herd word that will serve as our theme to carry us through the next several weeks. After a lot of brainstorming, tossing words against the wall to see what would stick and cycling through the dictionary, we looked around us and realized the word that best described what we are witnessing is … Unbothered.

Let’s Make It Count
As I thought about what I'd write in the wake of yesterday's historic step toward accountability following the Derek Chauvin verdict, I couldn't help but think about the lives of those in closest proximity to the tragedy of George Floyd's murder. In a way, it’s like we are making new traditions. We call them homemade escapades!

What Harriet Did For A Living Is A Lesson For Us All
“Sometimes I get so tired, then I remember what Harriet Tubman did for a living.”
This sits on my desk. I don’t know who created it, but when I saw it – it spoke to my entire soul. I use it as a reminder to keep pushing – no matter the challenge.
