Deonna Craig is a visual artist that is based right here in Indianapolis! She attended DePauw University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Sociology. Deonna spent 15 years in corporate America but her creativity and love for adventure caused her to pursue art full-time. As an entrepreneur, Deonna is able to pursue her passions of community building, teaching, public speaking, and visual art. She also serves as a mentor, a dance instructor, and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

With all of the different hats she wears, Deonna remains unbothered by “living at the intersection of peace and serenity.” She makes sure that she only allows those with good intentions and kind hearts to enter her space. “Good vibes only.” She shared a bit of advice with us: “Being unbothered is a lifestyle. Live authentically. Love freely. Move unapologetically.” These are words that we all need to live by.

Deonna was recently selected as a Visiting Artist for the world-renowned Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. She is also working on putting together some artwork for upcoming art galleries and museum exhibitions.
