Max Siegel
#HaveYouHerd: Today’s #FridayFeature is someone whose career has been an ongoing adventure. Max Siegel is the CEO/Owner of Max Siegel Inc. and the fourth CEO of USA Track and Field! To get a closer look at Max’s adventures, keep on reading.
Max Siegel is a cum laude graduate of The Notre Dame Law School. His career has been marked by a series of adventures. He made history as the highest-ranking African-American executive in NASCAR when he became President of Global Operations at Dale Earnhardt, Inc. He currently owns and manages Rev Racing, headquartered in Charlotte, NC, running minority and female race car drivers and pit crew members in multiple NASCAR- sanctioned series. Max has also worked with some of the biggest stars to date, including Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, and Usher. He is the CEO/Owner of Max Siegel Inc., a marketing and media agency specializing in sports, entertainment, and multicultural marketing, and he has become only the fourth CEO of USA Track & Field (USTAF).
Max’s accomplishments and skills speak for themselves. In his first year with USTAF, he was able to bring on nine new sponsors! His advice to others is to “Create a plan, and set goals for yourself professionally and personally and to understand the “Why” in everything you do. It will be the motivator for the most challenging times in your life's journey. Find mentors and a core group of people that will provide you guidance, support, and transparency.”
Max shared with us that his career endeavors have allowed him to experience some incredible adventures in his personal life, like traveling the world with his family. One of his favorites was taking his children to the Olympics! A little-known fact that we learned is that Max used to play the drums and was part of his middle school and high school bands as well as the show choir called the Northwest Sensations.
Max’s current projects include managing NASCAR teams, developing the NASCAR Drive for Diversity Pit Crew Development Program, and an internship and college scholarship program. He is also working on turning his memoir into a movie. We will be on the lookout for that!
