Milestone

Life is a journey filled with milestones. Depending on your age, you might have experienced some of what society calls the “conventional milestones” such as voting, getting your driver's license, graduating high school, getting married, parenthood, homeownership, or retiring. I think it’s safe to say that these milestones are the defining moments for the different stages of adulthood.

In addition to the conventional milestones, there are also more personalized milestones that we’ll all experience. As individuals, we’re each on life’s journey, and we all have our own journey to travel.

I still have some conventional boxes to check. However, I am proud to say that while waiting to become a homeowner, I have done some awesome things in the interim. Some of my milestones have been completing my first half marathon and becoming a Certified Group Fitness Instructor.

I am proud of my milestones; each one has played a significant role in my life and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.
