Creating Safe Spaces for Women to Grow Their Influence

Women are taught to be caregivers and to pour into others so much that we often lose ourselves, our passions, and our interests. I've found that when wearing all the hats we wear, we can easily fall into not caring about ourselves or our dreams. This ignited my mission to create space for women to dig in and do the hard work needed to achieve their personal goals.

A community space that understands our needs and shares common cultural experiences, interests, concerns and goals can help us maintain our drive. To create community, whether in a new city, new workspace, or virtually, one first needs to accept the challenge of garnering personal connections. Networking and connecting with those around you is necessary when creating an inclusive space because people cannot trust that they are safe in the environment you built until they can trust you as an advocate.

In these spaces, you can grow your influence, not only on others but also on yourself. Often, we need to see that the unthinkable is possible to realize that we can achieve it all. In my journey, I've found that having safe spaces helps women grow their creativity and confidence and pushes them to step out of their comfort zone. This magic then becomes a domino effect that connects and influences others to achieve their purpose.

As the saying goes, "Empowered Women, Empower Women," which is why I founded Create. Connect. Collab. Creating safe spaces for women allows them to be celebrated, understood, supported, and challenged. I've found myself continually helping others share their stories by advocating for themselves, making genuine connections and crushing their dreams.
