As this is our last blog post for 2018, the Herd Strategies team wanted to share a few thoughts about lessons learned this past year and steps we plan to take as we move into the new year. While this certainly isn’t a list of ‘resolutions’ (that just seems so cliché) we’ve compiled a few thoughts about as Snoop Dog would say about ways for “living our best lives” and how we plan to stop going back and forth with people and thoughts that keep us from being our very best. These ideas are in no particular order. They’re just a few thoughts and ideas from our ‘Herd’ to yours. So, here we go:

  1. If what you’re doing now isn’t helping you achieve your goals, stop doing it.
  2. Do not be afraid to let go of toxic relationships and friends.
  3. Understand the power in the word ‘no’. Saying ‘no’ is not a negative – in many instances, it’s a blessing.
  4. You have not because you ask not. Always ask.
  5. Chill out. It’s going to be all right.
  6. Be intentional about what you want to do or accomplish.
  7. Don’t be afraid to dream a new dream.
  8. Take care of you.
  9. Don’t let people define you. Their perception of you is not
    your reality.
  10. The struggle is your story of
    transformation

What are your lessons learned
and how do you plan to live your best life in 2019? Now’s the time to create
your plan. What are you waiting for?
